Mike Ford

Mike Ford is an Operating Partner at The Nashton Company, a holding company investing in recurring revenue services businesses.  Nashton builds leading companies in niche markets over a very long period of time.  Mike is proactively working with the team to identify and source attractive investment opportunities and to then take a leadership role in the companies in which Nashton invests.    

Prior to joining the firm, Mike was the Managing Director of Lead-Out Advisors providing strategic, management, and operational consulting to privately-owned companies. Mike served as Vice President of Business Development and Strategy for BBA Aviation which provides aftermarket services in the business and general aviation industry.  He joined BBA from United Technologies Corporation (UTC) where he held several executive and leadership positions.  During his tenure at UTC, he was responsible for the worldwide business development activity for UTC Aerospace Systems, led and executed several large strategic deals, and had full P&L responsibility for several business operating units. Prior to joining UTC, Mike spent 14 years with Citigroup, Inc., where his last role was as Vice President in the Investment Banking Division. 

Mike holds a B.A. degree in economics from the University of Illinois. He and his wife Chris have three children and live in Avon, CT.
